John Campbell
John H. Campbell, Jr.
Chief Executive Officer

John is the Chief Executive Officer of Daylight Petroleum, LLC.  John leads the Daylight team that is responsible for asset development and oversees all daily activities of Daylight.  John has over forty years of experience acquiring, operating and developing domestic oil and gas assets.

Prior to joining Daylight in October 2020, John was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Meridian Energy, a private company focused on acquiring and operating mature, low-decline domestic oil and gas assets, and prior to Meridian, John served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Quantum Resources, a public MLP. Prior to this John was a partner at Quantum Energy Partners.  Prior to Quantum, John had roles of increasing responsibility with Ocean Energy and Burlington Resources.

John received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alabama and a Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.

VP of Operations

Art is the Vice President of Operations for Daylight Petroleum, LLC and oversees the field operations, production engineering, and health, safety, environmental, regulatory (HSER) for the company. Art has over twenty-five years of experience in various asset management and operations roles across a variety of oil & gas basins throughout the United States including the Gulf of Mexico.

Prior to joining Daylight in February 2023, Art was General Manager of the Northern Division for Diamondback Energy (formerly QEP Resources) where he had full P&L responsibility for the Bakken team.  Earlier in his career Art held positions of increasing responsibility with Devon, El Paso and Samson Resources.

Art is a licensed professional engineer in Texas.  He received his B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Jon Yarborough

VP of Subsurface

Jon is the Vice President of Subsurface for Daylight Petroleum, LLC and oversees the reservoir engineering, geology, and data engineering departments for the company.  The primary focus of Jon’s team is building development & depletion plans for Daylight’s assets and generating capital projects to increase the value of the company’s assets.  Jon has over twenty years of experience in similar roles, developing both conventional and unconventional resources in a variety of oil and gas basins in the United States. 

Prior to joining Daylight in February 2020, Jon was the Vice President of Asset Development for Riviera Resources. Prior to Riviera, Jon held positions of increasing responsibility at Linn Energy from 2012 to 2018, Citation Oil and Gas Corporation from 2007 to 2012, and ExxonMobil from 2002 to 2007.  Most of Jon’s roles have been focused on reservoir engineering and asset development.

Jon received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a Minor in Business from the University of Tennessee.

Justin Arnold

Chief Accounting Officer

Justin is the Chief Accounting Officer for Daylight Petroleum, LLC and oversees all accounting functions including operations accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and tax. Justin has over nineteen years of accounting experience, primarily within the upstream oil & gas industry.

Prior to joining Daylight in October 2019, Justin was the Controller for Percussion Petroleum I, where he was a member of the management team that identified, developed, and divested positions in emerging oil and natural gas resource plays in southeast New Mexico.

Prior to joining Percussion in 2017, Justin was the Corporate Controller for Earthstone Energy from 2015 to 2017 and held positions of increasing responsibility at Occidental Petroleum Corporation from 2010 to 2015.  Justin began his career as an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche, LLP in Houston, Texas, primarily serving public upstream oil & gas clients.

Justin is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. and M.S. in Accounting from Texas A&M University.

Kristen Luebs
Kristen Luebs
VP of Land

Kristen is the Director of Land for Daylight Petroleum, LLC and oversees the administrative and operational land management for the company, as well as coordinating real property legal matters with outside counsel.

Prior to joining Daylight in May 2021, Kristen was the Vice President of Land for Vitruvian Exploration (“VEX”), a portfolio company of Quantum Energy Partners that most recently focused on exploration in the dry-gas window of the Eagle Ford Shale and the condensate window of the Austin Chalk in South Texas.  Kristen was an integral member of the Land Team for three iterations of VEX, including Vitruvian Exploration II, LLC, which sold its SCOOP assets to Gulfport Energy for $1.85 Billion in 2017.

Kristen held positions of increasing responsibility at Southwestern Energy Company from 2006 – 2012, which included Government Affairs and First Nations Liaison in New Brunswick, Canada and Land Lead of the organization’s Strategic Exploration team.

Kristen is a Certified Professional Landman and earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Megan Brahm

Director of Operations Finance

Megan is the Director of Operations Finance for Daylight Petroleum, LLC and oversees the Financial Planning & Analysis department for the company. The primary focus of her team is creating Daylight’s budget and forecasts, analyzing performance, and managing liquidity to maximize the value of the company’s assets. Megan has over fifteen years of experience in similar roles and responsibilities in the oil & gas sector.

Prior to joining Daylight in February 2019, Megan was the Director of Operations Finance for Sanchez Energy Corporation, a private company focused on the development and production of its properties in the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas.

Before Sanchez, Megan held positions of increasing responsibility at Hilcorp Energy, Occidental Petroleum and PWC.

Megan received a B.B.A. in Accounting and a M.S. in Finance from Texas A&M University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.
